Soccer Skills Authentic Assessment Scoring Rubrics for the Second Year Male the Vocational Students of Assumption Commercial College
This study aimed to construct soccer skills authentic assessment scoring rubrics for the second year male vocational students of Assumption Commercial College. The scoring rubrics consisted of 5 subtests: 1) dribbling the ball by outstep of the foot skill, 2) passing the ball by inside of the foot skill, 3) stopping the ball by inside of the foot skill, 4) heading the ball skill, and 5) goal shooting by instep of the foot skill. The sample is comprised of 30 second year male vocational students of Assumption Commercial College by purposive random sampling. The content validity of the scoring rubrics was approved by 5 soccer experts using Rovinnelli and Hambleton method. The test-retest method was employed to determine the reliability. Data were analyzed by using t-test for dependent samples and the norms by using mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the validity of The Soccer Skills Authentic Assessment Scoring Rubrics included skills tests in 1) The validity of each skill test for: “dribbling the ball by outstep of the foot”, “passing the ball by inside of the foot”, “stopping the ball by inside of the foot”, “heading the ball” and “goal shooting by instep of the foot” were .91, .91, .83, .93 and .90, respectively, which were all equivalent to very good. 2) The reliability of each skill test for: “heading the ball” and “goal shooting by instep of the foot”, were .93 and .90, respectively, which were very good. “Dribbling the ball by outstep of the foot”, “passing the ball by inside of the foot” and “stopping the ball by inside of the foot” were .86, .83 and .83, respectively, which were good. The norms for the score in each item of The soccer skills test were: greater than 55.28 points = very good, 46.68-55.27 points = good, 38.08-46.67 points = moderate, 29.49-38.07 points = fair, and less than 29.48 points = needs improvement.
