Developing Learning Achievement of Group Working Skills and Attitude of Mathayom Suksa 1 Students at Rattanakosinsomphodbangkunthian School By Using Cooperative Learning in Creative Paper Works Subject Learning Area of Occupations and Technology

Working in groups can not only help students to learn to work with others, it also helps them to understand group working process better. That will benefit to their daily lives. The objective of
this research was 1) To develop learning plan and to evaluate the effectiveness of cooperative learning plan through three areas, including academic achievement, 2) group working skills, and 3)attitudes. 2) To study academic achievement and group working skills and attitudes among Mathayom Suksa 1 Students instructed by cooperative learning. The sample of this study was consisted of 50 mathayomsuksa room 1/3 students who studied a course on Creative Paper Works in the second semester of 2015 academic year at Rattanakosinsomphodbangkunthian School, Bangkok. The simple random sampling was used as the sampling method. The sample Mathayom Suksa 1 students were drawn from 12 individual classrooms based on the room number. Data were analyzed by t-test for dependent samples, mean, and the percentage.
The results of concluding learning plan and evaluating the effectiveness of cooperative learning plan through three areas indicated that students mostly have continuously developed group working skills; their behaviors have been improved; their positive attitudes towards group working skills have been improved from good to very good levels, and this affected students’
satisfaction on cooperative learning instruction. The students’ grades were from very good to
excellent levels. The students’ post-test score of learning achievement was higher than pre-test
score with statistical significance level of 0.05. Besides, overall works of each group of students
were beautiful and creative. For group working skills, assessment by the researcher, intra group of
students assessment, and student self-assessment revealed coherent outcome, that was students’
working group skills were at very good level
