Qualitative Research in Science Education

Abstract

  Qualitative research methodology is a key to finding answers to studies in  science education. The qualitative research enables researchers and educators access to the profound knowledge embedded in social phenomenon. Thus, science educators and researchers need to understand the paradigm of research, the basic beliefs that lead to the use of research methodology, the form of qualitative research, the methods of data collection, the data analysis, and the ethical consideration of research which the researcher must be responsible for the study group.
