The Carl Orff Musical Experience Provision to Develop Social-Emotional Skills of Preschool Children with Autism

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the effect of the Carl Orff musical experience on social skills in children with autism of preschool children with autism. The target group of this research was 3 preschool children with autism ages 4-5 years at Denla Kindergarten (Petchakasem) in second semester of 2015 . The research included 24 musical experience plans, socialemotional skills and observation form of preschool children with autism. The result of this research showed that the preschool children with autism who participated in musical experience had the mean pretest score was higher than the posttest in all mean scores.
