The development of the Short Courses on Increasing Value Added of Local Product for a High School Education of Khonkaenwittayayon 2 School, Khonkaen Province

The objectives of this study were to develop the short-course curriculum of value added on local products for high school students in KhonKaenwittayayon 2 school, KhonKaen. The population of this study was 29 teachers in learning area of career and technology from 29 schools under the Office of Education Service
Area 25, and 5 teacher from interview in learning area of career and technology, who have knowledge in local products. Employed research instruments were a questionnaire of opinion, deeply interview teachers, short course curriculum, learning and education plan, and educational achievement tests. Research findings were as follows: 1) From the basic data, it was found that the educational department had development plan for all over education and improving quality; physical, spiritual, and intellectual. Also it improved knowledge, virtue,
morality and good culture for living. Students could not only live with other people happily, but also enhance national art and culture, religious, and athletics. Student would get working skill, management skill, and use
information technology and integration among technology, intelligence of locality, and local product in properly. Moreover, they would get capability for their career and lives, and continue to improve themselves, 2) The result from development of short course curriculum in increasing a value added on local products for high school students in KhonKaenWittayayon 2 school, khonkaen province, it was concluded that components of this curriculum were principle, subject matter, aim, study time, instructional media, Assessment of Learning Outcomes and 6 plans of learning management plan. Experts of evaluation’s curriculum found that the subject matter matched with the purpose of learning skill and was proper for using in learning management, 3) Based on the finding of this investigation by testing in using the short course curriculum, it was summed up that the majority was direct learning from experiencing and was taught by folk expert with teacher and researcher. The pattern of teaching was evaluated projects and products, and association among students and teacher and 4) The result from evaluated and improved the
short course curriculum showed that in learning and teaching behavior students satisfyingly cooperated in activity and learning. In improving curriculum, there were defective plans that should change and improve such as time for learning and doing in activities, especially in practical part.
