Abstract

The Development of Instructional Model of Basic Computer Subject for Undergraduate Students at Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Group

The purposes of this study were1) to study the casual factor that affected achievement of learning of basic computer subject for undergraduate students at Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Group. 2) to develop of Instructional model of basic computer subject for undergraduate students at Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Group. This study used 2 phases to conduct the research methods follows; phase I, to study the casual factors that affected achievement of learning of basic computer subject for undergraduate students at Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Group. The research samples of this phase were 441 undergraduate students who we reenrolled in the basic computer subject in the first semester of 2014 from a multi-stage random sampling. The research instruments of this study were three parts; 1) questionnaire of the casual factors that affected achievement of learning of basic computer subject with the reliability level of 0.81. 2) achievement test of learning of basic computer subject with the reliability level of 0.81, and 3) skills assessment test of basic computer subject with the reliability level of 0.88. The statistics for data analysis were to find reliability of questionnaire, Mean, Standard Deviation and Statistical Analysis of the Influence of the causal factors by using LISREL Program. PhaseII, to develop of Instructional model of basic computer subject for undergraduate students at Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Group by the monitoring and evaluation with 5 experts.

The results of the research were found that1)factor in the process of teaching directly affected to the instructor as significant of 0.05 level and to the overall achievement of learning of basic computer subject as significant of 0.05 level, but the instructor factor affected to the achievement of learning of basic computer subject and the learners without statistically significant and the learner factor had directly affected to the achievement of learning of basic computer subject without statistically significant. The findings from analysis of the causal in fluencecon clouded that factor in the process of teaching affected to the overall achievement of learning of basic computer subject and affected to the instructor factor as significant of 0.05 level. 2) The Instructional model of basic computer subject for undergraduate students at Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University Groupcomposed of 4 factors as follows: 1) The theory/principle/ concept of model 2) The objectives of model 3) The activities of model contained 4 sequential steps; 1. Initiation 2.Icon 3.Implementation and 4.Closure 4) Measurement and evaluation of model.
