Abstract

The film and television teaching materials used in teaching Chinese as an international language are short films and educational materials specially made for their unique characteristics, in addition to audio-visual teaching materials and traditional paper materials. Film and television teaching materials are video materials which use Chinese and contain Chinese subtitles, as well as multiple elements with real scenes and realistic learning significance. This paper aims to analyze the auxiliary application and advantages of this new teaching method in international Chinese education. From the perspective of teaching form, international teaching of Chinese film and television takes teaching materials as the main body and multimedia as the main display platform. The assistance of film and television materials not only helps learners to have a visualized understanding of Chinese characters and meanings, but also highlights and embodies the culture closely related to language in the Chinese context.
