A REVIEW OF THE RESEARCH ON TEXTBOOKS FOR NATIONALIZATION OF CHINESE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

With the continuous development of Chinese international education, more and more foreigners are learning Chinese. Some learners choose to go to China to learn Chinese in the target language environment, but more learners learn Chinese in their own country. Chinese Teaching gradually changes from "Inviting in" to "Going Out". The general teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language can not fully meet the needs of these learners. Therefore, the research on the localization of Chinese teaching materials based on the pertinence principle begins to attract attention. In the past ten years, great progress has been made in the study of nationalized and localized Chinese textbooks. By summarizing the origin of the concept of nationalized Chinese textbooks and related research results, this paper analyzes the achievements and shortcomings of previous studies, and makes a brief review of the research of nationalized Chinese textbooks as a foreign language.
