States, Needs and Guidelines for Academic Work Administration Development into the New Normal in the Private Education Institutes under the Jurisdiction of Khon Kaen Province Vocational Education

Abstract

This research aimed to study: 1) the current states and desirable states of the academic work administration into the New Normal, 2) the needs in the academic work administration development into the New Normal, and 3) the guidelines for the academic work administration development into the New Normal in the private education institutes under the Vocational Education of Khon Kaen Province. The samples consisted of 32 administrators, 187 teachers, totally 219 cases using the sample size fixed by Taro Yamane’s formula with the stratified random sampling technique. The target group included 9 experts selected by the purposive sampling technique, covering educational institute administrators and department heads. The research instruments contained the five-rating scaled questionnaires with the IOC at 0.970, reliability at 0.986 and the semi-structured interview form. The statistics used for analyzing the data were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the index value of PNI modified.

            The research findings revealed that: 

1. The study findings in the current states and desirable states of the academic work administration into the New Normal in the private education institutes under the Vocational Education of Khon Kaen Province, the current states as a whole were in the high level, and the desirable states as a whole were in the most level.
2. The study findings in the needs on the academic work administration development into the New Normal in the private education institutes under the Vocational Education of Khon Kaen Province. It was implied the ranking: 1) the work in instructional material into the New Normal, 2) the department administration into the New Normal, 3) the curriculum  development into the New Normal, 4) the academic services and libraries into the New Normal, 5) vocational education of bilateral system into the New Normal, and 6) measurement and evaluation into the New Normal.
3. The study findings in the guidelines for the academic work administration development into the New Normal in the private education institutes under the Vocational Education of Khon Kaen Province could be concluded 6 guidelines appeared in 26 indicators.   1) the work in instructional material into the New Normal in 3 indicators., 2) the department administration into the New Normal in 6 indicators., 3) the curriculum  development into the New Normal in 5 indicators., 4) the academic services and libraries into the New Normal in 3 indicators, 5) vocational education of bilateral system into the New Normal in 4 indicators., and 6) measurement and evaluation into the New Normal in 5 indicators.
