Cost and return of weaving reed mats Folded natural pattern, size 200x200, of the Ban Phaeng housewife group, Tambon Banphaeng No. 11, Phaeng Sub-district, Kosum Phisai District Mahasarakham Province

Abstract

                Objectives of this research were 1) to study the general condition of the 200x200 folded natural mat weaving of the farmers group of Ban Phaeng Village No. 11, Phaeng Subdistrict, Kosum Phisai District. Mahasarakham Province 2) to analyze the cost and return of weaving of folded natural woven mat, size 200x200 of Ban Phaeng Farm Women Group, Village No. 11, Phaeng Subdistrict, Kosum Phisai District Mahasarakham Province and 3) to analyze factors affecting the cost of reed mats production process Woven a folded natural mat, size 200x200, of the Ban Phaeng Farm Women Group, Village No. 11, Phaeng Subdistrict, Kosum Phisai District Maha Sarakham Province. The data used in this research were from a questionnaire of 90 reed mats. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results showed that 1) Research result member of Ban Phaeng Farm Women Group were female, aged 41-60 years old, primary school level, marital status, experienced in weaving reed mats for more than 15 years, and knowledge and techniques of reed mat weaving from parents. It is distributed through a group of manufacturers as a member. 2) The production of reed mats has an average cost of 245 baht / piece, has an average sales income of 350 baht / piece, has a profit from sales of 105 baht / piece. 3.) The most affecting the production of reed mats is raw materials.
