Sustainable Development of Local Fishery After COVID-19 Pandemic: The Case Study of Kung Tanod Local Fishery’s Community, Kui Buri District and Bang Saphan District’s Local Fishery Network, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

The local fishery is the occupations that have been affected by the pandemic of    the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Some parts of research objectives of the holistic development of indigenous fishery for the creative economy and new normal in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province are the mechanism study for the sustainable development goals (SDGs) drive in the local development context. Moreover, the other objective was this research was the policy recommendation for SDGs driving plan in provincial level or the public organization at Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The case study in this research was the Kung Tanot local fishing community, Kui Buri District and Bang Saphan district fishermen network community, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The result of this research found that both local fishing communities have had the mechanism for SDGs before the pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019. Besides, the researchers collaborated with the fishermen from both communities created policy recommendation for SDGs driving plan in provincial level for the research result applying.
