Development of Creative Thinking Skills through CIPPA Model Learning Management for Early Childhood Education Students

The objectives of this research were to 1) compare the creative thinking of early childhood education students before and after learning through the CIPPA instructional model and 2) study the satisfaction of early childhood education students toward learning management using the CIPPA instructional model. The instruments used included 1) a creative thinking instructional plan using the CIPPA model, consisting of 4 lesson plans, each lasting 3 hours, totaling 12 hours, 2) creativity thinking test comprising 3 sets used for both pre-test and post-test assessments and 3) satisfaction questionnaire for early childhood education students regarding the CIPPA instructional model consisting of 23 second year students majoring in Early Childhood Education at NakhonRatchasima College enrolled in the course 0401302, Assessment of Development and Preparation of Child Portfolios during the first semester of the 2024 academic year. The sample was selected using purposive sampling. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and paired-sample t-test.
The results were as follows: 1) The comparison of creative thinking among early childhood education students after learning through the CIPPA instructional model was significantly higher than before learning, at .05 level of statistical significance. 2) The overall satisfaction of early childhood education students with the CIPPA teaching model was at the highest level.
