Abstract

This research employs quantitative research with the objective of studying how marketing communication factors affect the sustainability of community markets, focusing on Tong Chom Market. The study population consists of entrepreneurs in the Thai market. The sample group includes 400 traders, determined using an unknown population formula with an additional 0.13% and selected through multi-stage probability sampling. The steps involved are: 1) randomly selecting representative provinces from each region. 2) randomly selecting markets to be observed in the selected provinces. 3) randomly selecting participants using a questionnaire as the data collection tool, distributed to the sample group in five markets. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to test hypotheses, including multiple regression analyses. The results of the multiple regression analysis using the enter method for the marketing communication variables within Berlo's model, encompassing all four dimensions: sender, message, channel, and receiver, indicate that all four dimensions significantly influence the future sustainability of the market at a statistical significance level of 0.05. Together, they account for 69% of the variability in market sustainability (R2 = 0.69). Considering the magnitude of influence from the standardized beta coefficients (Beta), it is found that the marketing communication factors have the greatest impact on sustainability, with the receiver dimension having the highest influence (Beta = 0.38), followed by the channel dimension (Beta = 0.21), the sender dimension (Beta = 0.20), and the message dimension (Beta = 0.19), in descending order.
