Abstract
This research aims to (1) identify and classify tourism resources to promote agricultural and cultural tourism, (2) enhance collaboration between agricultural communities and tourism entrepreneurs to develop agricultural and cultural tourism routes, and (3) formulate marketing strategies to promote these tourism routes in Suphan Buri Province, Thailand. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, including field surveys and in-depth interviews conducted in three districts: U Thong, Bang Pla Ma, and Song Phi Nong. The findings reveal that tourism resources in Suphan Buri can be categorized into three main groups: agricultural tourism, cultural tourism, and experiential tourism. These resources can be integrated into tourism routes that highlight the unique agricultural lifestyle and cultural heritage of local communities. The Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis indicates that the Bang Pla Ma route achieved the highest SROI value at 9.50, followed by Song Phi Nong at 7.67 and U Thong at 7.00. The results demonstrate that agricultural and cultural tourism development can generate both economic value and significant social benefits for local communities.
