Referencing Styles
References should follow the APA7 system - APA Style (American Psychological Association Style). In-text citations should use the 'author-date' citation style (Author, Year) within the text.
Example of Reference Writing:
Book
Surname, Initials. (Year). Title of the Book (Edition). Publisher's Name.
Example:
Jones, M. (2009). Sustainable event management: A practical guide (2nd ed.). Routledge.
In-text Referencing
In-text citation or end-text citation: (Jones, 2009)
Pre-text citation: Jones (2018)
*in-text citations for three or more authors, use et al.
Journal Article
Surname, Initials. (Year). Title of the Article. Journal Name, Volume(Number), Page Numbers.
Example:
Pitt, M., & Smith, A. (2003). Waste management efficiency at UK airports. Journal of Air Transport Management, 9(2), 103-111.
Unpublished Dissertation
Surname, Initials. (Year). Title of the dissertation. [Unpublished degree]. University name.
Example:
Daniel, C.N., & Berinyuy, L.P. (2010). Using the SERVQUAL Model to assess service quality and customer satisfaction: An empirical study of grocery stores in Umea [Unpublished Master’s thesis]. Umea University.
Dissertation published in database
Surname, Initials. (Year). Title of the dissertation. [degree, University]. Database.

Proceeding
