Abstract

The purposes of this study were to 1) compare the analytical thinking ability of Prathom Suksa V students at Thai Mueang 3 Educational Quality Development Network Schools, Phang Nga Province during before and after through the inquiry learning management incorporating with two brain hemispheres development activities, and 2) compare scientific problem solving ability of Prathom Suksa V students at Thai Mueang 3 Educational Quality Development Network Schools, Phang Nga Province before and after learning by using inquiry learning management Incoporating with two brain hemispheres development activities. The sample group consisted of 19 Prathom Suksa V students at a School, In Thai Mueang 3 Educational Quality Development Network School in Phang-nga Province, derived from cluster random sampling. The research instrument were lesson plans in the topic Water Resources and Weather using inquiry learning management incorporating with two brain hemispheres development activities, an analytical thinking ability test and a scientific problem solving ability test. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

The results of the study revealed that 1) the students’ analytical thinking ability after learning by using inquiry learning management incorporating with two brain hemispheres development activities was higher than that of before with statistical significance at .05. Which the analysis of element and analysis of organizational principle were developed better than analysis of relationship aspect and 2) the students’ scientific problem solving ability after learning by using  the inquiry learning management incorporating with two brain hemispheres development activities was higher than that of before with statistical significance at .05.
