The Participation process to change behavior of Sports and Recreation course of Chitralada Technology Institute

Abstract

The purposes of this research for 1) to study the behavior of late attendance before and after using the participation process 2) to study participation in teaching and learning management in  sports and recreation course of  Chitralada Technology Institute students  3) to compare the late students' attendance behavior before and after using the participation process in teaching and learning management of sports and recreation course of Chitralada Technology Institute. The population was 30 students who enrolled in sports and recreation in the second semester selected by using the purposive sampling method. The research instruments were the attendance record table and lesson plans which had the value of the Index of Item Objective Congruence (IOC) at 0.85, and the class participation assessment form was at 0.80. The analysis of late students' attendance behavior using percentage, mean and standard deviation. The participation was analyzed by mean, and standard deviation and compared the students' late attendance behavior before and after using the teaching and learning participation process by t-test.

The results found that the attendance behavior of the late students before using the participation process, the late attendance of students on average were five people per week and before using the participation process found one person per week on average. The overall of the students' participation in the class was at a high level. ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.70, S.D = .563) And after using the participation process, the late attendance of students was less with the statistical significance at the level of .001.
