Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study of mathematical connection ability by using online learning management through the 4 MAT learning cycle model on geometric transformation of Mathayomsuksa Two students.

The population in this study were 3 classrooms of 120 Mathayomsuksa Two students in academic year 2021 at Wangnoi Phanomyong Wittaya School, the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Pha Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The sample was 1 classroom consisted of 39 Mathayomsuksa Two students who were selected by using cluster random sampling. The research instruments consisted of the lesson plans with online learning management through the 4 MAT learning cycle model on geometric transformation and the mathematical connection ability test on geometric transformation, The data on mathematical connection ability after learning from the mathematical connection ability test were analyzed by using descriptive statistics which were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Comparative statistics one-sample t-test was analyzed for testing hypothesis.

The research results showed that the students had mathematical connection ability on geometric transformations after the online learning management through the 4 MAT learning cycle model was excellent and very good which accounted for the same 30.77% and higher than the specified threshold 60% with statistical significance at the .05 level.
