Abstract

The objectives of this research were to investigate the personnel administrationpractices in small schools operating under the Lopburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 and to compare the practices based on various demographic and professional factors, including position, age, educational level, work experience, and school location. The sample comprised 235 school administrators and teachers in small schools within the jurisdiction of the office during the 2023 academic year. A stratified random sampling method was utilized, with schools categorized according to their respective districts. The research instrument employed was a questionnaire, which demonstrated a high reliability coefficient of 0.953. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical methods of t-test, and one-way ANOVA.

               The results indicate that the overall level of personnel administration practice of the sample is high. The various aspects of personnel administration were ranked in descending order based on average scores as follows: workforce planning and position allocation, enhancement of operational efficiency, discipline and maintenance of discipline, recruitment and appointment, and resignation processes. The comparative analysis results of personnel administration practices across the factors show no statistically significant difference.
