Knowledge, Attitudes, and Behaviors Regarding AI Use and AI Ethics Among Teachers in the Phahonyothin School Group
Keywords:
AI Ethics, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Attitude BehaviorAbstract
This study aimed (1) to examine knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to AI use and AI ethics and (2) to compare these aspects across demographic factors, including gender, generation, academic position, and school size. The population comprised 163 teachers from the Phahonyothin School Group, with data collected via a questionnaire (IOC = 0.95; reliability = 0.92) and analyzed using percentages, means, and standard deviations. Results showed that attitudes were at the highest level (µ = 4.02), particularly regarding the perceived benefits of AI, followed by high knowledge levels (69.25%), with AI ethics being the most well-understood area. Behaviors were frequently practiced (µ = 3.59), with ethical AI behaviors scoring higher than others. Comparisons revealed that participants who did not specify gender, belonged to Generation Z, were assistant teachers, or worked in small schools scored higher across all aspects, while senior professional teachers and Generation X had lower scores.
