Publication Fees and Payment
Journal of Information and Learning (JIL) is an open access journal whose published articles are freely available to readers. A publication fee applies to accepted articles at the journal’s published rates. Authors should make payment only after their manuscript has been formally accepted and they have received payment instructions from the editorial team.
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality and the outcome of peer review, independently of publication fees. Rejected manuscripts incur no publication or processing fees. The applicable fee rates, payment conditions and instructions for submitting proof of payment are provided below.

Conditions for manuscript consideration
Notification of manuscript consideration within 60–90 days.
For accepted manuscripts, authors are required to pay the publication fee after receiving result notifications.
For rejected manuscripts, authors are not obligated to pay any publication or processing fees.
