Publication Policy

Kasalongkham Research Journal, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, is served as a medium for disseminating high-quality articles that contribute to the development of society and local communities. The content of the articles should demonstrate the creation of academic knowledge that benefits development or brings about change in specific areas, society, or local communities in the following fields:

            - General Arts and Humanities

            - General Business, Management and Accounting

            - General Social Sciences

            - Education

            - Cultural Studies

Article submissions are accepted in both Thai and English.

 

Types of Publication

The types of articles accepted for publication include research articles, academic articles, review articles, and book reviews.

 

Components of Article

The article submitted for review should comply with one of the following academic genres.

1) Research Article should be a written work that deeply compiles knowledge based on academic principles in the relevant field. It should follow a clear, step-by-step process. The research article should include components such as an introduction, objectives, conceptual framework, research methodology, study results, discussion, and recommendations derived from the study.

2) Academic Article should be a written work that defines and explains or analyzes a topic in depth according to academic principles. It may systematically synthesize knowledge from various sources to provide a clear understanding to the reader. The academic article should include components such as an introduction, main body, and conclusion.

3) Review Article and Book Review should be academically profound, up-to-date, and demonstrate the ability to critically review published academic writings with sound academic reasoning. They should be composed into writings that are academically deep and enhance understanding. Review articles and book reviews should include components such as an introduction, main body, and conclusion.

                                                  

Publication Timeline

Kasalongkham Research Journal, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, publishes two issues per year as follows.

            Issue 1 (January-June) 

            Issue 2 (July-December)

 

Review Process 

All articles must undergo two review processes as follows.

            (1) The initial screening by the editorial board (peer review) is to evaluate the quality of the article, its relevance to the journal's objectives, the check for plagiarism, the referencing system, adherence to the journal's formatting guidelines, and overall completeness.

            (2) The article's quality is assessed by at least three experts in the related field from various institutions (double-blind peer review) to evaluate the article's quality, academic accuracy, and to provide suggestions for improvement. They also determine whether the article should be accepted for publication. The results are then summarized by the editorial board and sent back to the author. Throughout the review process, neither the experts nor the authors will know each other's identities (double-blind peer review). The ideas expressed in the articles published in this journal are those of the individual authors and do not reflect the views or responsibilities of the editorial board.

 

Notes: 1) If the authors wish to withdraw the article after it has been reviewed by the experts, they must submit a written request to the editor of the Kasalongkham Research Journal, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University. The author is responsible for the experts’ fee according to the actual expenses incurred.

            2) In the event that the article is rejected, the journal reserves the right not to refund the publication fee.

 

Article Submission Fee

The publication fees of Kasalong Kham Research Journal for students and personnel of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University and regular publication are as follows:

  1. The registration fee for the preliminary review of an article by the editorial board is 500 Baht per article.
  2. Publication fee for students and personnel of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University is 3,500 Baht/Aricle.
  3. Regular publication fee is 4,000 Baht/Aricle.

 

Kasalongkham Research Journal, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, charges a publication fee after the editorial board has initially reviewed and assessed the article's content for its alignment with the journal's objectives and guidelines. The journal will then proceed to submit the article for review by experts. Articles that do not strictly adhere to the journal's guidelines will be rejected. However, if the second-round review determines that the article does not meet the quality standards, the journal reserves the right not to refund the fee paid.
