The Development of Internal Quality Assurance Operations in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School under Mukdahan Primary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) Study of the condition and problems of quality assurance operations in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School 2) Propose innovations and development guidelines for internal quality assurance operations in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School 3) Study the results of the development of internal quality assurance operations. Ban Samkhamittraphap School 3, and 4) Assess teachers' knowledge and understanding of internal quality assurance. Personnel and the school committee in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School. The target group in this research consisted of 1 researcher, 1 co-researcher             (a teacher and educational personnel) and the educational institution committee of 40 people. The research methodology employed participatory action research involving four steps of two spirals: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation and 4) Reflection. The findings were as follows: 1) There is an internal quality assurance operation every year. However, it cannot be used as a data for the implementation of educational quality assurance of educational institutions to ensure quality and real standards. Problems in the development of internal quality assurance operations are teachers and personnel still do not understand the new approach to quality assurance operations. They have an attitude towards quality assurance operations as an additional burden beyond teaching and a lack of serious participation in internal quality assurance operations. 2) Innovation and development guidelines for internal quality assurance operations in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School consists of teamwork and participatory management and operations using 2 main projects and 37 sub-projects, 163 activities. 3) Results from the development of internal quality assurance operations in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School overall is at a high level. Achieve achievements according to objectives, scorecards, and set goals. 4) The results of the assessment of the teacher's knowledge and understanding of the internal quality assurance, the personnel and the educational institute committees in Ban Samkhamittraphap 3 School were at the high level.
