School Administrators’ Leadership in the 21st. Century Affecting the Effectiveness of Schools under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the leadership of school administrators in the twenty-first century, 2) study the schools’ effectiveness, and 3) study the school administrators’ leadership in the twenty-first century affecting the effectiveness of schools under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample group comprised 313 school administrators and teachers under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample size was founded on Yamane’s formula at the 0.05 error level selected by using the stratified random sampling technique and reliability at 0.959. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used were the mean and standard deviation (SD). The research findings revealed that 1) the transformational leadership of the school administrators in the twenty-first century overall were much the same level. 2) The schools’ effectiveness under the jurisdiction of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 overall were also much the same level. 3) The transformational leadership of the school administrators in the twenty-first century affecting the schools’ effectiveness under the jurisdiction of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in every aspect appeared to correlate with the research hypothesis to have a positive relationship. Furthermore, they correlated with much the same level with a statistical significance level of 0.01.
