The Needs for Developing Creative Leadership of Private School Administration under Vocational Education Khon Kaen

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study current conditions and desirable conditions of the creative Leadership of Private School Administration under Vocational Education, Khon Kaen province, and 2) to explore needs for developing creative Leadership of Private School Administration under Vocational Education, Khon Kean province. The methodology used was the Descriptive Research. The sample groups were 219 administrators and teachers from the private school’s administration under the office of vocational education at Khon Kean province in 17 schools by Random Sampling technique. The instruments were 5–level rating scale questionnaires with an IOC at 1.0 and Confidence at 0.945. The data were analyzed through the frequency, the percentage, the mean, standard deviation and the modified priority needs index.

          The results shown; 1) The current conditions with its overall picture were at a moderate level and the desirable conditions were at its highest level. 2) Necessary needs like vision, imagination, trust, problem solving and flexibility in developing creative leadership of private school administration under vocational education at Khon Kean were shown; (1) there were 6 indicators in vision has, (2) there were 5 indicators in imagination, (3) there were 3 indicators in trust, (4) There was 1 indicator in solving problem, and (5) there were 2 indicators in flexibility.
