Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the technology acceptance factors influencing     the intention to use electronic wallets (E-Wallets) among Generation Z consumers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province and to examine their E-Wallet usage behavior. This study employed   a quantitative research approach using a questionnaire as the research instrument. Data were collected from 400 Generation Z consumers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, while inferential statistics were analyzed through multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that Generation Z consumers exhibited a high level of overall perception toward technology acceptance factors. Among the factors examined, system trust had the highest mean score, followed by perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived security, respectively. The results of the multiple regression analysis indicated that perceived ease of use, perceived security, system trust, and perceived usefulness had significant positive influences on the intention to use E-Wallets at the .05 level of significance. These four independent variables jointly explained 44.90 percent of the variance in the intention to use E-Wallets (R² = 0.449). The findings suggested that ease of use, trust in the system, security, and perceived benefits were important determinants of E-Wallet usage intention among Generation Z consumers. These findings can serve as useful guidelines for service providers in developing digital payment services and designing strategies to promote the adoption of digital payment systems that better meet consumer needs in the future.
