A Study of Problems and Need of the Users Information Resources Services and Information, Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Dhonburi Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) A study of problems of the Users Information resources services and Information Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology Dhonburi Rajabhat University 2) A study of needs of the Users Information resources services and Information Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology Dhonburi Rajabhat University.

The sample group was 356 students, 10 teachers and 12 staff of Dhonburi Rajabhat University, total 378 people. The researcher used a simple random sampling by method using Taro Yamane's. Research instrument is questionnaires and data were analyzed through a statistical package program and use basic statistical that is frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation

Research results
1) Problem use of information resource services for users Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology overall, at the level medium. Considering each aspect, it was found that information resources, users of information resources, use of information resource services and information Technology and equipment aspect there is an overall problem “medium level”, information resource provider aspect there is an overall problem “low level”.
2) Needs of the Users information resources services Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology overall, at the level medium. Considering each aspect, it was found that Printed Materials, Non-Printed Materials and Electronic Materials overall demand for services is at a medium level. In part Online database separated into each database overall demand for services is at a low level
