A System of Participatory Quality Management for Educational Quality Enhancement in Anuban Buriram School

Abstract

This research purposes were: 1) to construct and develop a system of participatory quality management, 2) to try out a system of participatory quality management, and 3) to evaluate a system of participatory quality management, Research participants and sample groups consisted of 7 academic experts, 1,812 students, 88 teachers and educational personnel in the educational year of B.E. 2563 in Anuban Buriram School. The research instruments consisted of interview form, questionnaire, assessment form, and conclusion form for work products. The statistical analysis was comprised of percentage, average score, and standard deviation. The research results found as the followings; 1) the results of development   system of participatory quality management, whereas the developed management system showed the high level of appropriateness and feasibilities, (  = 4.30, S.D. = 0.25)  2) the effects of trying out management system showed evaluation childhood developments, that revealed overall of 4 facets of development at a high level to 97.42 percent, the results primary students that showed higher average of learning achievement in each subject content, compared with level 3.00 score were found to 74.29 percent of all Thai language, mathematics learning 78.65 percent, science and technology learning 82.64 percent, social studies, religious and cultural to 90.38 percent, history   82.74, health education and physical education  94.67 percent, 93.83 percent, working and vocational subject 93.83 percent, basic language arts 66.05 percent, and additional 51.09 percent. Whereas the results of overall assessment on desirable characteristics of students revealed at excellence level 93.24 percent, at good level 6.66 percent, In addition, the assessment results of reading, analytical thinking, and writing abilities excellence level or represented 43.61 percent, showed good level 49.56 percent, and 3) The assessment results on the system of participatory quality management revealed overall facets had a high level, ( = 4.16, S.D. = 0.22) whereas each facet showed quality at a high level.
