The Development of Problem-Solving Thinking Abilities of Kindergarten 2/2 at Thungmahamek School by Using Video for Distance Teaching

The purposes of this research were 1) to study problem-solving thinking abilities of kindergarten 2/2 at Thungmahamek School by using videos for distance teaching and; 2) to compare the problem-solving thinking abilities of kindergarten 2/2 at Thungmahamek School before and after using the video for distance teaching. The target groups in this research were 10 students of kindergarten 2/2 at Thungmahamek School who studied in academic year 2021 by purposive sampling. The research instruments were activities plan by using videos for distance teaching which had quality in the highest level (= 4.90, S.D. = 0.27) and problem-solving thinking abilities assessment form which had an index of congruency (IOC) at 1.00 all item. The statistics used in data analysis included frequency and percentage distribution. The results showed that: 1) the problem-solving thinking abilities of kindergarten 2/2 at Thungmahamek School after using videos for distance teaching was at good level. and 2) the overall problem-solving thinking abilities of the students in kindergarten 2/2 at Thungmahamek school had higher than before using the activity.
