The development of database on mobile devices about local wisdoms, cultures and traditions in Nanglea Sub-district, Muang District, Chiang Rai.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to develop and evaluate the efficiency of database on mobile

devices about local wisdoms, cultures and traditions in Nanglea Sub-district, Muang District, Chiang Rai (2) to study users satisfaction of this database, and (3) to compare whether difference sex and age of people could possibly caused different satisfaction toward the using of this database.  Research participants were 221 selected from students and those who seeking for local wisdoms, cultures and traditions related information and alike via generated website, 90 days after launched.

The research design included (1) database on mobile devices on local wisdoms, cultures and traditions in Nanglea Sub-district, Muang District, Chiang Rai and (2) questionnaire. The data was systematically analyzed by Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and f-test.

   Findings indicated that (1) the efficiency of the database rated by experts were high level (2) the users were very satisfied to the database and (3) in contrast, the satisfaction towards the database between male and female users were significantly difference at level of 0.05. However, age difference of participants has showed no significant difference for user satisfaction.
