The Modification of Lanna Folk Toys to Enchance the Overall Early Childhood Development

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the current situation and problems about Folk style  plays and toys . It focused on the application and development of children ’ toys of lanna suitable for early  childhood  children using the tools such as questionnaire, observation, information analysis and the population samples were Lampang residents, concerned. And unconcerned parties  related to lanna folk toys. At present, children will play with things that exist naturally. It is well know that certain Facts of intelligence develop through play. Play can develop the intelligence of children in several aspects of the development of the body, emotional development wisdom. Games and toys of the child  can be applied with the Lanna relation theory of Gardner to develop the ability to use  language properly.  Logical-mathematical intelligence, such as ranking players with various methods can help promote the child to understand  priorities. The two and three-dimensional nature of the turtle shell which has a semicircle can develop geometrical awareness. The folk games and Lanna toys promote musical intelligence. Play and toys folk style, can and kinesthetic promote the intellectual and  kinesthetic intelligence promote.
