Factors and Indicators of Teachers’ Spirit of the Primary Education Area Office in the Upper–Northern Provinces

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study factors and indicators and ensure concurrent
validity of teacher spiritual of the Primary Education Area Office in the Upper-Northern
Provinces. Samples of the study consisted of 840 administrators and teachers. The data were
analyzed using Exploratory Factors Analysis, principal component analysis, and orthogonal
varimax rotation. The results revealed that there were 10 factors with 57 indicators of teachers’
spirit. Testing the validity. This step was studied through 50 teachers in the known groups.
Data was analyzed by using t-test with a mean of population at a high level (μ = 3.50)
The findings were that: There were 10 factors and 57 indicators can description of the
variance was 66.14%. Factor loading ranked from the highest to the lowest included 1) Factor
on Self- Development with 10 indicators 2) Factor on Rationality in working with 9 indicators
3) Factor on Creativity with 8 indicators 4) Factor on Professional code of conduct Execution
with 6 indicators 5) Factor on Assiduity with 5 indicators 6) Factor on Kindliness with 4
indicators 7) Factor on Professional Honesty with 5 indicators 8) Factor on Goodness with 4
indicators 9) Factor on Affection and Faith in Professional with 3 indicators 10) Factor on
Instruction Execution with 3 indicators. The analysis of the indicators to the known groups
showed statistical significance. This assured that the 57 indicators were concurrently valid.
