Study of Characteristics of Instructional Leadership of Vocational Level’s of Private School under Office of Private Education Commission Bangkok

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (a) to study the Characteristics of Instructional
Leadership of vocational level’s in Private School Administrators under the Office of the
Private Education Commission Bangkok and (b) to compare individual opinion beyond
characteristics of instructional position: administrators and teachers 415 samples selected from
the 88 administrators and 327 teachers in Vocational level’s Private School under office of the
Private Education Commission Bangkok by using the specific sampling. Data collected by
using questionnaires the data were analyzed and presented as percentage, mean, standard
deviation and t-test at .05 level of significant. The results of research were as follow:
1. Administrators and teachers in vocational level’s private schools under the Office of
the Private Education Commission Bangkok have attitude towards the characteristics of
instructional leadership of private elementary school administrators are in high level as follow
1) Good vision in educational administrator to catch up with the changes. 2) Initiative in using
innovation for teaching. 3) Supporting the use of information technology in learning reform.
4) Capacity of the self dependable academic development. 5) Initiative and resourceful.
2. The results of hypotheses test found that the administrators and related persons had
significant difference at .05 levels in each expect. For comparing the results about found that
administrators’ means were higher than the teacher’s.
