Development on the Assessment System for Learners’ Activity Development of Pratom Suksa 4-6 Students at Sop Tam Withaya (Paeng Pakdee Upthum) School.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to develop an assessment system for learners’ activity development of  Pratom Suksa 4-6 students at Sop Tam Withaya (Paeng Pakdee Upthum) school and 2) to investigate the opinion of the system users. The data for this research were obtained from an administrator, teachers were responsible for student activity teaching, of  the 2009 academic year and members of the School Educational Committee. The instruments used for this study included a questionnaire and forms for behavior assessment, test, note, report, survey and satisfaction assessment. The quantitative data were analyzed through descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation.

The results revealed that the appropriate assessment system for learners’ activity development of the Pratom Suksa 4-6 students at Sop Tam Withaya (Paeng Pakdee Upathum) school consisted of 4 main components. In that, there were 1) input, 2) process, 3) output, and 4) feedback. The evaluation of  the appropriateness of the assessment system for learners’ activity development  revealed the appropriateness of the four components with the average scores at excellent degrees. Furthermore, it was also found that the users’ opinion on the standard for utilization, possibility and appropriateness of the assessment system suggested being at high degrees.
