Study and development of Health Tourism Management Guideline for Elderly of Maejo University

Abstract

The objective is study and development the guideline for health tourism management for elderly of Maejo University. Conducting research in a synergistic approach using Ethnographic Delphi Future Research techniques. Data was collected from 17 experts. The statistics used for data analysis were mean standard deviation median and inter quartile range. Guidelines for health tourism management for elderly of Maejo University that are appropriate and feasible in practice consisting of a management process in 4 area as follows 1) planning 2) organizing 3) implementation and 4) control. In the implementation the input factor should be taken into account, ie the target groups who participate in the activities. The process includes tourism products and services including attractions transport and access to tourist attractions. Facilities, accommodation and activities in impact of the results obtained after participating in the activities. The elderly should gain experience knowledge and benefits according to 4 aspects of holistic well-being physical mental social and spiritual.
