DEVELOPMENT OF THAI DESSERTS SHORT COURSE PACKAGES TO ELEVATE THE GRASS ROOT ECONOMY OF THE COLLABORATIVE FARMING IN NAKHONCHAIBURIN

Abstract

This research aims to 1) develop Thai dessert short course package for housewives’ group of the collaborative farming in Nakhonchaiburin based on criteria 80/80, 2) compare pre- and post- training test scores and 3) explore the training satisfaction from this group. The target group was from purposive sampling from housewives’ group of the collaborative farming in Nakhonchaiburin with totaling of 31. Research instruments consisted of Thai dessert short course training package and pre- and post-test with reliability value at 0.82. This included satisfaction questionnaire towards the Thai dessert short course package, and it had IOC value of more than 0.50. Data was collected before and after the training. Process (E1) and Product (E2) and Achievement were measured with t-test. Satisfaction was measured by descriptive statistics and they were percentage, means (gif.latex?\bar{X} ) and standard deviation (S.D.).

            The results showed that Thai dessert short course package had process’s score at E1=93.52 and product’s scores at E2=80.32. Trainees had significant pre- and post- training scores at 0.01. The post-test scores were higher than that of the pre-test scores at 16.06>9.35. Their satisfaction scores were at high level (gif.latex?\bar{X} =4.43, S.D.=0.59) and satisfaction towards the activities were at the highest level ( gif.latex?\bar{X}=4.70, S.D.=0.38).
