The Journal of Social Academic, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, serves as an academic platform for the dissemination of scholarly work, including research articles and academic papers in the fields of social sciences, humanities, education, social development, social studies, religion and culture, as well as various interdisciplinary fields relevant to contemporary social contexts.

The articles presented in this special issue were selected from the 1st National Strategies Academic Conference: “Transborder Development”, held on January 15, 2024, in Chiang Rai Province. The conference was organized by the Program in Regional Development Strategies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University. This issue includes research and academic articles written in Thai, reflecting a rich diversity of perspectives and integrated approaches in economic development, social development, environmental management, and educational advancement throughout Thailand. Each article was reviewed, critiqued, and advised by three qualified experts from various academic institutions who specialize in relevant disciplines, ensuring scholarly rigor and relevance. Their contributions play a vital role in advancing and reflecting on strategies for transborder development.

The editorial board extends its sincere gratitude to all individuals involved in every stage of the journal’s production, from inception to completion. This collective effort aims to inspire readers, provide a source of academic reference, and contribute to practical applications. It is our aspiration that this journal will serve as a valuable academic space fostering a sustainable learning society, in alignment with the mission of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University to drive genuine local development.
