SAKON NAKHON PROVINCE’S THREE DHARMA TOURISM STRATEGIES TOWARDS THEIR IMPLEMENTATION

The objective of this research were to study applying Sakon Nakhon province’s three dharma tourism strategies towards their implementation, to study the problems and obstacles of applying Sakon Nakhon province’s three dharma tourism strategies towards their implementation and to provide guidelines on Sakon Nakhon province’s three dharma tourism strategies towards their implementation. This research conducted qualitative research. The key informants were divided into 3 groups: 12 policy makers, 18 policy implementers and 11 entrepreneurs, altogether 41 key informants. In-depth interview, structured interview, was used for collecting data and content analysis was used for data analysis.
This research found that the implementation of Sakon Nakhon province’s three dharma tourism strategies was clearly in term as well as was effectively assessment of master plan as well as were followed up that focused on stakeholder participation to enhance tourism network capacity of Sakon Nakhon province. In terms of problems and obstacles of applying Sakon Nakhon province’s three dharma tourism strategies towards their implementation, this research found that according to the obstacles, there were holding up budget and lacking of various disseminations. The policy should promote and support long term plan to create linkage every sector to enhance the quality of Sakon Nakhon province tourism.
