Managing information from the experiences and expertise of farmers can help problem-solving and adapt appropriately. Therefore, the objectives of this qualitative research were: 1) to study the financial problem-solving knowledge of model rice farmers in Uthai Thani province, 2) to create an ERD (Entity-Relationship Diagram) prototype of the database model to develop an information system to address the financial problem-solving for rice farmers in the future, and 3) to transfer knowledge and evaluate satisfaction with knowledge transmission related to financial problem-solving among model smart farmers. The target groups were 57 people by using purposive sampling. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and questionnaires with item objective congruence from 0.67 to 1.00. Data were collected and analyzed using content analysis and statistical methods, consist of mean and standard deviation. The study findings were as follows: 1) the financial problem-solving knowledge of model rice farmers included; collaboration, self-reliance, and networking, 2) an ERD diagram illustrated the data relationships in the system for developing an information system to financial problem-solving for rice farmers in the future, and 3) the satisfaction evaluation score for the transfer of knowledge activity among smart farmers was 4.15. The research recommends that the financial problem-solving for farmers are able to achieve through collaboration among individual farmers, farmer groups, and farmers regulatory agencies.
